Marilyn Manson moves forward with a dramatic change in style, attitude and personnel by announcing the departure of longtime friend and bassist Twiggy Ramirez.
I have spent eight months transforming this band and our new songs into an unstoppable juggernaut, and sadly Twiggy wasnt able to make himself a part of it, says Manson. Unfortunately, I feel that Marilyn Manson, as a lifestyle, is not where his heart is. So I have decided to let him go his own way, otherwise it wouldnt be fair to us, the music, or especially to the fans. Although you can never replace a best friend like Twiggy, this album and new lineup will redefine anyones idea of what Marilyn Manson is capable of.
Marilyn Manson, John 5, M.W. Gacy and Ginger Fish are joined by bassist Tim Skold.
The Golden Age of Grotesque, which is under the production team of Manson, Skold and Ben Grosse is near completion and expected this Fall on Interscope Records.

Manson has released the new album name it is: 'The Age of The Golden Grotesque' I has hopes to be released in the fall.

Also his court case was taken place a couple days ago. He faces jail time. But I guess thats life. Also another guard claims the similar case to the court which may increase the jail time. What an asshole! lol. Later

Manson has recorded video for "Tainted Love" which aired on MTV along with a speacial "Making the video" I thought it was cool. It also has a cameo by Joey Jordison. So enjoy! Laterz!

Marilyn and the band have Re-Recorded the song "tainted love" and Manson may appear in a movie... All for now.

According to sources; the DVD footage was originally recorded by Missy Romero (Manson's ex-girlfriend) in 1990. Expect never before seen video footage with additional concert footage of 'Misery Machine' and 'My Monkey'. Finally, look for rehearsal footage and
interviews. The DVD totals 67 minutes of footage with an interview with Missy Romero plus 11 minutes of additional audio interview, and lastly: a still photo archive. The tracklist is listed below:

Revolver Magazine's Linkin Park cover issue features Marilyn Manson in a small interview. He talks about a new album best described as "Marquis de Sade with a drum machine". Manson also described the album as being very perverse in its sexual overtones and vulgar lyric wise. He did not mention anything about a release date. From SLS News

The release date of the Holy Wood action figure was pushed back to November of 2001. The toy comapny is still accepting pre-orders for the figures, and will ship them out as soon as the figure will be released. The delay was due to unforseen reasons. Source: MansonToy.com

Marilyn Manson returned to Detroit, Michigan last week concerning the assault-and-battery charges and Launch.com printed the following article:
Signing autographs and taking pictures with three fans who attended his arraignment Friday (September 21) in suburban Detroit, Marilyn Manson stood mute on criminal sexual conduct and assault-and-battery charges. The shock-rocker posted $25,000 personal bail at the 52nd District Court in Clarkston, Michigan, and will return for another arraignment on November 9 in Oakland County Circuit Court. The charges stem from a July 30 OzzFest appearance at the DTE Energy Music Theatre, at which a security guard alleges that Manson rubbed his genitals on the guard's neck and body.
Manson--who had been out of the country until earlier this month--wore a black shirt, black pants with gray pinstripes, black shoes with three-inch heels, blue sunglasses, and white pancake makeup to the hearing. He and his manager Tony Ciulla took a 2 a.m. PT flight from Los Angeles to Detroit for the arraignment, and flew back Friday afternoon.
Manson, who's in preproduction for his next album, made no comments to the press or to Judge Gerald E. McNally, who cautioned the rocker not to repeat the alleged actions between now and his return to Michigan. Manson did, however, shake hands with Detective Dirk Finley, the arresting officer.
Manson's attorney, Walter Piszczatowski, has indicated that they'll plead innocent. From SLS News
Manson Explains Song Meanings with MTV Russia.

Russian MTV ran a couple of weeks ago an interview with Marilyn Manson, which was taken right after the Kerrang! Awards. Manson wore the same suit he wore the night of the awards. "As always," said a fan, "the interview was translated into Russian which makes it impossible to hear what Manson is really saying. But fortunately the Russian MTV News crew sent us an exclusive transcript of the original interview and we are pleased to present it to everyone!"
The interview starts with a background information on Manson's latest single "The Nobodies". Manson comments:
"This song in particular is also pointing out that that event is not singular and things like that have been happening for years and years. It's pitiful when it becomes a ratings game about how many people are watching when you're dying to see what type of a hero or what type of a martyr or villain you become. How many magazines you get on when you kill somebody."
Then they start talking once again about Columbine and how Manson responded to the media attacks on him with the songs on "Holy Wood". Manson:
"Part of it was a reaction to the media attacking me over Columbine, part of it was me looking for closure and something that began with Anti-Christ Superstar, part of it was wanting to express a valid important opinion about why mankind behaves the way he does, to point out that religion and entertainment are one of the same and entertainment can't be blamed for violence, violence is man's true nature. I wanted to put that in to a record that took you on a journey."
So who is Marilyn Manson after all? Let the man himself speak:

Manson Set For Arraignment On Concert Charge

Marilyn Manson will return to suburban Detroit on September 21st to be arraigned on sexual assault charges stemming from a July OzzFest stop there. A 25-year-old security guard has alleged that a skimpily dressed Manson rubbed his genitals on the guard's back and neck during a July 30th performance at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Independence Township, Michigan. Prosecutors in Oakland County, Mich., charged Manson with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and assault and battery; Manson was out of the country when the charges were filed, and the prosecutor's office decided not to pursue extradition.
Manson has hired criminal defense attorney Walter Piszczatowski, the same lawyer who engineered probation for rapper Eminem earlier this summer on gun and assault charges. Piszczatowski will argue that laws governing performance and free expression neutralize the charges against Manson. "I think the conduct was protected conduct and doesn't give rise to a criminal prosecution," Piszczatowski said to Launch Media. The criminal sexual conduct charge carries a maximum two-year prison sentence, while assault and battery, a misdemeanor, carries a 90-day maximum incarceration.
Earlier this summer, Manson told Launch that he's grown used to people not accepting his manner of dress or performance--especially at OzzFest. "Generally it's always the older fans that show initial resistance. I think it's hard for men in their late 30s, early 40s to not feel sexually uncomfortable when a man such as myself steps onstage wearing what I do. I think after 15 or 20 minutes of musical pummeling on their skull, I think that kicks in and they're part of the team at that point." From SLS News

Random songs from Manson are to appear on Mtv`s Criminal. The program is expected to be about a murder that occured in Texas, Why? Becase of hate. Watch it, It should be good.

10*10*2001 Like last week Manson went on his official website and typed a message for his fans it reads :
We all knew this day would come. My best wishes go out to those families who lost their loved ones. I also have friends in NY and of course here in LA that I am still concerned about. The only thing we can do now is to stick together. If it takes something this terrible to unite us, so be it.
America hasn't always stood by me, but I will surely stand by America. Let's never forget how lucky we are to have so much freedom.

When I say for us to unite I mean as like-minded individuals and as friends. I don't expect the country to come together because of this tragedy, but at least we can here.
Everyone is scared and confused and I wish I had more to offer. Right now I have my friends and family to worry about. I hope you all stay safe.
And for those who want to make ignorant comments about my feelings on this, you are entitled to your opinion but you can always take it somewhere else.
Even someone like me can show respect for those killed yesterday and for the people protecting our lives.
